CANACONA: A motorist was injured in an accident between a car and a two-wheeler at Devabagh, on Friday. However, the occupants of the car escaped unhurt. Canacona police said that the victim was one Suraj Pagi, a youth from Palolem in Canacona.
Pagi was taken to Canacona health centre, but since the centre lacked a trauma unit and other medical facilities, he was shifted to Hospicio hospital. According to eye witnesses, the front tire of the car got burst, while the two-wheeler was totally damaged.
