PANJIM: Aashrun Gautam and Yash Kunkolienkar moved into the U-17 and U-19 boys singles finals in the All-Goa major ranking badminton tournament organised by Goa Badminton Association in collaboration with the SAG, at Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda, on Saturday.
In U-19 girls singles, Anjana Kumari will meet Anar Singbal in the final, which will be played at Indoor Stadium, Campal-Panjim on Sunday, at 5 p.m.
In the U-17 semi-finals, Aashrun defeated Sushil Nayak 21-12, 21-15 while Yash Kunkolienkar outplayed Joseph Anthony 21-8, 21-6.
In the U-19 semi-finals, Yash Kunkolienkar outsmarted Krishnank Fallary 21-19, 22-24, 21-7 while Aashrun Gautam got walkover Mehul Jirage.
In the U-19 girls semi-finals, Anjana Kumari defeated Manjushri Raut 21-18, 21-18 while Anar Singbal got the better of Emilia Silveira 17-21, 21-12, 21-6
