RAIA/MAPUSA: Vasco City Sports and Cultural Club trounced Velsao Sports and Cultural Club 8-0 in the Goa Football Association Division II League match played at Tilak Maidan, Vasco, on Monday.
Abhishek Kumar Singh netted a hat-trick, while Keegan De Souza netted a brace and Rowan Fernandes, Aneesh Harmalkar and Sushant Borkar netted a goal each for Vasco City Sports and Cultural Club.
In another match, Fr Agnelo YSC, Paroda, took it easy against Curtorim Gymkhana 4-1 at Rosary Church ground, Navelim. Pratik Gaonkar scored a brace, while Savio Vales and Clifton Oliveira scored a goal each for Fr Agnelo YSC.
Substitute Melchior Miranda scored the only goal for Curtorim Gymkhana.
U-15 DIV I: Cortalim Villagers pip Calangute Association
Cortalim Villagers registered a hard-fought 1-0 win over Calangute Association in the Goa Football Association U-15 Division I League match played at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Monday.
Ansh Shetkar scored the all-important goal for Cortalim Villagers in the 34th minute of play with a neat placement.

At Curtorim ground, Sesa Football Academy scored a hard-fought 2-1 win over Maina SC in the Goa Football Association-Vedanta Women’s Football League match played at Curtorim ground, on Monday. Pearl Fernandes and Flani Costa scored for Sesa FA, while Vailanka D’Souza reduced the margin for Maina SC.
