MAPUSA: Adarsh Yuvak Saligao registered a solitary goal win over Dunes Sports Club Mandrem to enter the quarters of the St. Anthony’s Cup, organised by St. Anthony’s SC Marna, at Siolim ground, here, on Friday.
The all important goal came in the second session of play.
Saligao opened their account in the 55th minute when Paulo Joao headed the ball neatly from a free kick by Nester Dias into the Dunes net.
Down by a goal, Dunes time and again attacked the rival citadel but Saligao keeper proved a hard nut to be cracked.
