KAKODA: Ambelim Sports Club defeated Parish Youth Nuvem 6-5 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi- finals of the Holy Cross trophy in their 22nd all Goa inter-village football tournament organised by Holy Cross Sports Club, Vodlemoll Kakoda, at Vodlemol Kakoda ground on Sunday.
PY Nuvem’s Shubert Colaco netted the first goal of the match with an arrow bound shot in the 12th minute.
Premson Fernandes netted the equaliser for Ambelim SC in the 50th minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker Ambelim SC proved to be better shooters.
