PANJIM: International Master Audi Ameya put up a scintillating performance to win the Ceske Budojevic Open A chess title, in Czech Republic, Sunday.
Ameya defeated Simunek Jakub Simon (CZE) , Svacina Petr (CZE), Borkovec Milan(CZE) , Hak David, Lutz Ruben (GER), Lajbl Jan(CZE) and Zima Jan (CZE).

Ameya had seven wins and two draws to his name with a tally of eight points out of possible nine rounds as he remained undefeated.
The second place went to IM Stefansson Vignir Vatnar while Briem Benedikt (ISL) finished third. In all, 103 players from 15 countries took part.
