A fine brace by Olcy Endro helped Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club thump Immaculate Conception Sports Club, Paroda 5-1 in the GFA Third Division play-off at Curtorim ground, on Wednesday. There was no score at the breather.
Sao Jose de Areal enjoyed a lion share of exchanges and held sway over their opponents but failed to get their scoring act, as their forwards were inept in ideal positions.
At the other end, Immaculate Conception did well to contain the rival forwards and also occasionally went for attack but it was not enough to trouble the rival defense.
Crossing over, striker Alleulia Fernandes drew first blood in the 50th minute while Olcy Endro, who was the hero of the day, struck twice in the 53rd and 68th minutes to complete his brace.
Sao Jose de Areal continued their fine run and notched up two more goals when Aggie Antao increased their tally in the 78th minute with a pile driver.
At the fag end, Immaculate Conception reduced the margin through Lawrry Mascarenhas in the 80th minute. Godfrey D’Silva rounded off the tally in the 84th minute.
