PANJIM: Bruno Coutinho scored the lone goal in the 10th mintue of first half as Bardez Veterans registered in solitary goal victory over Panjim Veterans in the semi-finals of Dramapur Veterans football tournament organized by Dramapur Sports Club in memory of five children, who died in a tragedy at Jackniband Dramapur in the year 1979.
In another quarter-final counter, Mark Caterers, Nuvem defeated Quepem Veterans 5-4 via tie-breaker to move into the semi-final.
In the tie-breaker, Vishant Padnekar, Remeus Rebello, Marcus Carvalho, Nelson Lendes and Francisco Fernandes scored for Mark Caterers while Krishna Shirodkar, Jerry Colaco, Custodio Fernandes, Jose Rebello converted for Quepem Veterans.
Mark Caterers will meet Candolim Veterans in the second semi-final on March 12.
