RAIA: Scoring once in each half, St. Rock Majorda, downed fancied Goa Velha SC 2-0 to enter the quarter-final of Cavelossim Panchayat Trophy inter-village football tournament at Fr Drustan Wellington ground, Cavelossim, on Tuesday.
Bevan D’ Mello of St Rock gave the lead in the 20th minute when he cleverly controlled a difficult pass from Wendell Coelho to shoot pass the goalkeeper.

In the second half Bevan, completed his brace when he shot a long ranger which gave no chance to the goalkeeper. Goa Velha hit back and Lalush Talwar missed an easy chance to reduce the margin when he shot over the bar from a goalmouth melee.
Delfina Luis was the chief guest and gave away the man-of- the match award to Bevan D’Mello
