Bhakti in joint 2nd spot

PANJIM, OCT 28 Bhakti, Ivana and Riddhi with six points each after the end of eight rounds stand a chance to finish in the medal list if they win the remaining rounds at the World Youth Chess championship in Halkaidiki, Greece.

Bhakti, Ivana and Riddhi with six points each after the end of eight rounds stand a chance to finish in the medal list if they win the remaining rounds at the World Youth Chess championship in Halkaidiki, Greece.               
Results: WIM Bhakti Kulkarni (six points) beat WIM Hoang Thi Nhu 2214 of Vietnam. She is now in joint second position in U-18 girls. Riddi Zantye (six points) beat Gombocz Zsofia of Hungery in U-8 girls. WCM Ivana Furtado (six points drew) with WFM Li Zhuoling 1863 of China in U-12 girls.
Nitish Belurkar (five points) drew with Czupor Attila 1757 of Hungary in U-10 and Riya Savant (five points) beat Korchagina Alena of Russia in U-10 girls.
