PANJIM: Special Olympics Bharat Goa team bagged two gold, six silver and one bronze medals at the Special Olympics Bharat National Championship in Table Tennis held at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, recently.
Pramod Gawas and Sabit Yadav clinched gold while Tushar Desai,Krutika Naik, Milton Fernandes and Fatima Karigar clinched silver in the singles event. Sharveen bagged bronze. Milton also bagged silver in doubles along with Sharveen Volvoikar.
Altogether 18 boys team and 12 girls team from 18 states participated in this Championship. The athletes were accompanied by a male and a female coach and National Sports Director of Special Olympics Bharat Victor R Vaz .
