MARGAO: Bhatikar Model School, Margao defeated AIM English HS, Davorlim by 105 runs and booked their place in the semi-finals of the Mukund Trikkanad memorial inter school cricket tournament organized by Margao Cricket Club on Wednesday.
At Dr. Rajendra Prasad Stadium, Bhatikar Model School posted 176 for 2 in the allotted 20 overs after batting first. Sanath Nevgi & Deep Kasvankar hammered half centuries. In reply, AIM School inning folded in just 71 runs. Medium pacer Kedar Bhagat did most of the damage as he picked 4 wickets for 17 runs.
