DBO Fatorda storm into semi-finals

GOA VELHA: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda stormed into  the semi-finals Navelim Villagers Union in the 13th London Trophy  organised by Goa Velha Sports Club with an exciting 5-3 win, at Goa Velha Sports Club ground.
Navelim  surged ahead in the sixth minute through Clinton Niasso who beat DBO keeper Blinghton Barretto with a simple tap. 
Joel Colaco found the equaliser for DBO Fatorda in the eighth minute as he shot home off a cross beating Jeet Gupta in the Navelim goal. 
Melvan Furtado regained the lead for DBO Fatorda in the 20th minute through a 30-yard long ranger that beat Navelim Villagers keeper Gupta. 
Prestly Gomes found the equaliser for Navelim  in the 25th minute as he smartly took advantage of Brieghton Barretto’s error of judgement and shot home. 
Joel Colaco scored his brace and DBO Fatorda’s third goal in the 27th minute as his lob landed in the goal beating Gupta in the Navelim goal.
 Edgar Noronha made it 4-1 in favour of DBO Fatorda in the 30th minute as he danced past the Navelim defense and shot home from close range. At half time, the score read 4-2 in favour of DBO.
In the second half, DBO Fatorda further increased the margin to make it 5-2 in the 50th minute of play through Joel Colaco who incidentally also completed his hat trick.
 Navelim Villagers Union reduced the margin in the 68th minute through Clinton Niasso who also scored his brace to make it 3-5.
 Clinton Niasso headed home off a cross from Aulon Gomes.
