PANJIM: BAFF hammered FC Tuem,10-0 in the U-14 league organised by Goa Football Association, at Assonora ground, on Friday.
Siddharth Gawas and Mohiddin Shaikh were the stars for the winning side as the duo netted in five and four goals respectively and Chirag Kohankar scored one for the winners.
At Curtorim ground, Raia Football Club defeated Pinto’s Youth of Baradi 5-0. Reyes Cruz scored four goals and Naveen Gautam netted in one for the winning team.
Young Strikers Benaulim got the better of Rossman Cruz, Nagoa 3-1 in a game held at Ambelim ground. Backdon Braganza scored a hat-trick for the winners while Darshan Praiapait scored one for the losing side.
At Betalbatim ground, Parish Youth, Nuvem beat Cana Benaulim SA, 4-1. Nikhil Chithurthi scored a brace, besides Shenoy Colaço and Melcio Coutinho scored one each for the Nuvem team. Sandeah Velip pulled one for the Benaulim team.
In another match, Salcete FC thumped Verna SC 5-1.
Salcete FC opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Jerry Miranda and further doubled the lead in the 12th minute through Aran Endro.
Dresden Viegas (14), Veron Rocha (45) and Velroy Fernandes (67) were the other goalscorers for the winners.
Joylan De Mello scored a late consolation for Verna SC as the scores read 5-1 at full time.
