RAIA: Bolero Boys, Navelim, scrapped past Wembley Boys, Fatorda, 7-6 via tie-breaker to clinch 4th All-Goa 5-a-side football cup organised by St Anthony Boys of Agalli at the Government Multipurpose School ground, Borda, recently.
The final was played under the floodlights and witness by large crowd. Both teams played 3-3 draw at full time.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Bolero Boys proved to be the better shooters.
Chief guest PWD Minister Digambar Kamat gave away the prizes in the presence of BJP State President Damu Naik, Margao Municipal Council Damodar Shirodkar, Vice-Chairperson Babita Naik, Councillors Yogiraj Kamat, Milagrina Gomes, Sadanand Naik, Raju Naik, Sweta Lotlikar, Camilo Barreto, Mahesh Amonkar, Paresh Natekar and club officials.
Clencio Pinto, Sebostiao Furtado, football player; Goa Football Development Council Agnelo Noronha, Milagres Soares, Gregory Dias and Peter Fernandes were felicitated.
