Bresources Betalbatim Sporting Club hammered Ave Maria Athletic Club, Benaulim 4-0 in the GFA U-16 League at Betalbatim ground, on Wednesday. Betalbatim were leading 2-0 at half time.
Betalbatim were a dominant lot with their forwards showing a greater urgency in their approach and repeatedly raided the rival citadel. Leslie Fernandes opened the scoring early with a snap shot.
At the other end, Ave Maria tried their best but the rival defence was too strong to thwart their attempts. Vishal Fernandes doubled the lead midway with a stiff grounder.
The second half saw Bresources in total command and prevented their opponents from coming into rhythm.
Vishal Fernandes stuck a second time to complete his brace to make it 3-0.
Jaison Lucas rounded off the tally late in the second half.
