Candolim Sports Club registered a 2-0 win over Sodiem Siolim in the inaugural match to enter the quarter-finals of Pramodini Dattaram Palyekar memorial soccer organised by Football Club of Siolim at St. Anthony’s church ground, Siolim on Monday. Candolim scored a goal in each session.
Francis Rebello put Candolim ahead in the 4th minute as he guided the ball into the goal off Kliber D’Souza’s cross.
Changing over, Wesleslau Rebello latched on a power-packed long ranger to further consolidate the lead in the 10th minute.
