Court nod for further probe

The South Goa Sessions Court on Monday granted permission for the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to carry out further investigations into the Margao bomb blast case.
The NIA had approached the court seeking permission to further investigate into the bomb blast, which the court on Monday granted under section 173 of the CrPC
Five accused chargesheeted by the NIA in the Sessions court are still absconding. During investigations, their role and involvement in the criminal conspiracy has come out from the statements of accused Vinay Talekar, Vinayak Patil, Dhananjay Ashetkar and Dilip Mangonkar. The NIA has maintained in the chargesheet that their custodial interrogation is needed to unearth the larger conspiracy of this case.
