SIRLIM: Candolim Sports Club proved their superiority by defeating CAC Cansaulim 2-1in the 24th edition of the All Goa inter village football tournament, at Chinchinim Church ground.
Melroy Fernandes scored both the goals for Candolim with long attempts in the 6th and 12th minutes while Arron Fernandes reduced the margin off a penalty for Cansaulim five minutes from end.

Trailing by two goals at half-time, Cansaulim were a different side and came up with several moves into the rival territory. They were able to reduce the margin from the spot when Arron Fernandes made no mistake to make it 2-1 Cansaulim.
Candolim also made several attempts and hit the posts on two occasions.
Melrose Fernandes of Candolim and Arron Fernandes of Cansaulim earned yellow cards. Candolim Sports Club will now meet Navelim Villagers Union.
