PANJIM: Goa Rugby and Goa Touch, under the guidance of BanquetSPORTS grassroots will be organizing a first ever BanquetSPORTS Services Touch Rugby Cup for the Goa Police, and Fire Force, on April 4, at the fire brigade ground, in Panjim.
A Total of 58 Players (six teams) amidst the ranks of Goa Police and a total of 20 players (two teams) amidst the ranks of Goa Fire Force will take part.
The organizers had conducted seven touch rugby camps for the Goa Police, at the Police training school in Valpoi and ten camps for the Goa Fire Services, at the fire brigade ground in Panjim, in February and March.
There will also be a friendly match between Crazy Pirates, Guirim and Trynosaurs, Panjim in the mixed open category.
The BanquetSPORTS Services Touch Rugby Cup 2015 promises to showcase some incredible talent, unearthed from the Services, that have show a high level of skill and competency during training, paving the way for talent that could represent Goa and India someday at the 2016 Nationals2019 World Cup.
