CHICALIM: Chicalim Sports Club registered a fluent 2-0 win over UYC Bogmalo in the Goa Football Association Second Division League match played at Chicalim ground, on Monday.
Dishu Singh and Macwin Joanes scored a goal each in the either half of the play to give Chicalim full points.
Chicalim Sports Club dominated from the word go and played more of short passes. They tried to break the Bogmalo defense from the centre but failed and hence started using the width.
After constant probing, the home side broke the deadlock at the half hour mark when Domnic Michial raced from the left flank and played a cut back pass to Dishu Singh, who placed the ball past the rival keeper, 1-0.
Crossing over, Chicalim continued their game plan and doubled the account in the final quarter of the game. This time, it was the first goal scorer Dishu, who was the provider and set up Macwin on goal to make it 2-0.
Chicalim’s Domnic and P Chaivan were cautioned by the referee.
