MARGAO: Churchill Brothers were held to a 1-1 draw by Air India in an under-20 I-League football match in Jamshedpur.
Alesh Sawant scored for The Red Machines in the 50th minute with a fantastic free-kick from 30 yards out. Air India scored the equalizer in the 86th minute off a corner.
The Goan outfit were denied a clear penalty in the 91st minute after Jovisco’s shot was handled by an AI India defender inside the box.
The draw leaves Churchill Brothers with two points from two matches.
