Cobra Vaddo trounced Umtta Vaddo B 4-0 to move into the finals of Calangute Panchayat Cup 2010 Inter-Ward Football tournament organised by Calangute Association at Poriat ground, here on Monday.
Dominating the proceedings, Cobra scored the first goal in the 10th minute through Soraj Diukar. Down by a goal, Umtta Vaddo tried to bounce back into the game but another strike by Soraj Diukar in the 14th minute changed the complexion of the match.
Joaquim Gonsalves added another in the 25th minute. Ashley Lobo rounded off the tally for Cobra Vaddo in the 5th minute of the second half. Cobra Vaddo now await the winners of second semi-final to be played between Naikka Vaddo and Gaura Vaddo on Wednesday.
