GUIRDOLIM: Cuncolim Union scored a convincing 3-2 victory over Navelim Sporting Club in the All Goa inter-village Seraulim Village Panchayat Cup football tournament, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim, at SAG ground Seraulim.
Cuncolim scored their first goal through Daulat Desai in the ninth minute when his power-packed shot from close range found the net through an advancing keeper.

Navelim tried to mount pressure on Cuncolim and eventually on the run of play scored through Terence Miranda who ran solo and scored in the 22nd minute.
Cuncolim scored their second goal in the 24th minute when Daulat Desai who ran down the left flank neatly passed the ball to Dailon Carvallo to tap home and give Cuncolim the lead and take the score to 2-1.
Post-resumption, Cuncolim scored their third goal when Daulat Dessai one again gave a defence splitting pass to his team mate Dailon Carvallo who placed the ball into the far corner of the net. Navelim scored their second goal through Ronaldo Pereira in the 52nd minute.
Goalkeeper Vicky Naik and Denvil Fernandes both from Cuncolim Union were sent out of the game in the dying minutes when both team mates argued with each other and later ended in a scuffle.
