MARDOL: Curtorim Gymkhana edged past USC Mardol 7-6 via the tie-breaker to move into semi-finals of Mardol Trophy, at Mardol ground, on Tuesday.
The Mardol netted the first goal in 10th minute through Clatus Da Costa. At the other end, Curtorim Gym tried hard and equalise and managed to draw level as Milagres scored Fernándes in 30th minute to make it 1-1.
In second half, the Mardol side took lead in 45th minute through Vaman before Milagres stunned USC Mardol as he scored from goal mouth melee to take the match into the tie-breakers.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Curtorim Gym proved to be better shooters.
