CURTORIM: Ryan’s hat-trick and Jeliston’s brace helped Damdollem beat Virbahat 5-4 to enter to the semi-finals of the 2nd Curtorim inter-ward 9-a-side football tournament organised by Cumborda Sports Club of Curtorim, at Curtorim ground, on Sunday.
Jeliston opened Damdollem account in the 14th minute.
Ryan made it 2-0 for Damdollem in the 20th minute. Five minutes later, Jeliston scored his brace for Damdollem. The half-time score was 3-0.
In the 29th minute, Jose pulled a goal back for Virabhat to make it 3-1.
In the 32nd minute, Ryan scored his brace for Damdollem to make it 4-1 in favour of Damdollem.
Ryan completed his hat-trick a minute later to make it 5-1.
Virabhat however didn’t give up and accelerated their attack as defender Savio went into attack mode and they succeeded in the 34th minute when Livan scored.
In the 35th minute, Savio netted for Virabhat.
Five minutes later, Savio scored his brace off a splendid free-kick from 20 yards to make it 5-4.
