RAIA: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, defeated Guardian Angel Sports Club, Sanvordem, 6-5 via tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of the UCT Trophy inter-village football tournament organised by United Club of Telaulim, at Telaulim ground, on Sunday.
Both teams played a brand of soccer in front of nearly 800 spectators. It was a match played between two title aspirants.

Roque Borges of Don Bosco Oratory was the star of the match, while Fernandes gave his best to Guardian Angel SC.
Don Bosco Oratory opened the scoreline through Rahul Sharma in the 26th minute. As the match progressed in the second half, Milton Fernandes equalised for Guardian Angel SC in the 56th minute.
At the end of regulation time, both the teams settled for a 1-1 draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Alfred Noronha, Raul Sharma, Cliff Barretto, Francis Andrade and Mario Noronha scored for Don Bosco Oratory. For Guardian Angel SC, Keegan Fernandes, Godevico D’Costa, Milton Fernandes and Norman Dias were on target.
Socorro Ferrao, executive member of United Club of Telaulim presented the man-of-the-match award to Roque Borges of Don Bosco Oratory.
