SAO JOSE DE AREAL: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, got the better of Rossman Cruz, Nagoa Verna, 3-1 to enter into the final of the Areal Panchyat Cup inter-village football tournament, organised by Sao Jose de Areal SC, at Padribhat ground, on Friday.

Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda coach Vincent Barbosa gave an extra task to Presley Pinto and Hanslum Furtado to take control of midfield and the frontline and Francisco Fernandes the coach of Rossman Cruz Nagoa Verna gave an extra task to Ajay Satarkar and Jesloy Moniz to take control of midfield and frontline.
Presley Pinto of Fatorda from the centre foxed and connected Cliff Barretto to the right flank, who at once pulled the trigger and shot into Rossman net in the very first minute itself to open the account.
Hanslum Furtado of Fatorda took a powerful shot which was saved by the Rossman goalkeeper Franky Abranches in the second minute.
A tricky move of Presley Pinto of Fatorda should have found the net but shot wide in the sixth minute.
It was Hanslum Furtado who took a glancing header and made it 2-0 for Fatorda off Presley Pinto cross in the 24th minute.
Ajay Satarkar of Rossman power packed shot was saved by Fatorda goalkeeper Karol Soares goalkeeper in the 28th minute.
As the match progressed, in the 42nd minute, Maxwell Furtado made it 3-0 for Fatorda.
Rossman Cruz pulled a goal back through Andruz John with just few minutes left for the final whistle.
