RAIA: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda edged past St Anthony’s SC, Assolda 2-1 to book their place in the semi-finals of the inter-village football tournament organised by Youth Club of Manora, at Manora ground, Raia, on Friday.
Both the teams were tied at 1-1 at the breather. Francis Andrade gave the lead to Don Bosco Oratory in the 25th minute off a direct free-kick.
However, the lead was short-lived as Shafik Shaikh cancelled it for St Anthony’s SC five minutes later.
The match-winner for Don Bosco Oratory was scored in the 60th minute by Edgar Noronha after he received a through ball from Francis Andrade.
