Earlier, at 3.30 p.m, an exhibition match will be played between MRF Kandepar GFDC Center and Syngenta Marcel GFDC Center.
South Goa MP Narendra Savoikar will kick-off the match. A scholarship with cash prize will be awarded to an upcoming footballer from Ponda. Evencio Quadros, founder and chairman of Quadros Group of Companies will be the chief guest.
Ponda MLA Lavu Mamlatdar, Director of AHVS Dr Santosh Dessai, Parish priest Fr Tony D’Souza and ex-National hockey player Joseph Fernandes are the special invitees.
