Dramapur Boys move into finals

Dramapur Boys beat Upcoming Boys, Baida 6-5 via the tie-breaker to storm in the finals of Catherine Viegas memorial football tournament organised by Union of Chinchinim villagers at church ground, Chinchinim on Sunday.
Dramapur Boys were trailing 0-1 at the breather.
Upcoming Boys were put into the lead when Francisco Rebello punished the rival goalkeeper with a stiff grounder.
Dramapur Boys tried their best to neutralise the lead but they failed to get past the rival defence.
On crossing over, Dramapur Boys kept themselves in the hunt for the equaliser and finally snatched it late in the second half when Cedric’s snap shot beat the rival goalkeeper all ends up.
With the scores level, the tie-breaker system was applied where Francis D’Costa, Cedrric, Franky, Anthony and Joel converted for Dramapur Boys while Ashvy Rebello, Francis Rebello, Sandeep and Johnson were on target for Upcoming Boys.
In the final, Dramapur Boys will face St Anthony’s, Deussua on September 1.
