MAPUSA: Excel Rowers Veterans registered a 5-4 win via tie-breaker over Candolim Veterans in the veterans football tournament, organised by Moira Veterans, at Moira Club ground, on Sunday.
The match was equally fought with both the teams having a chance each to take the lead but they failed and the match finally ended in a goalless draw.
In the first session, Caitan Xavier missed an open sitter with just the rival keeper to beat.

For the winners Dominic, Leonardo, Augustine, Pedro and Succorro scored on target while for the losing side Shanker, Gabriel, Caetano and Alex scored.
