DABOLIM: Bhoom Shankar Tak Dish, Fatorda breezed past Orli Kortara of Non Mon Bandar, Vasco 5-4 to emerge champions in all-Goa NCP Presidential Cup 5-a-side tie-breaker tournament, organised by Vasco Friends Circle, at Chicalim panchayat ground, Sunday.
The winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and the runners-up had to settle for Rs 15,000. Special prizes were awarded: Best dressed team Wolf Boys Vasco, Best goalkeeper Pradeep Jadav (Orti Kortara), Best shooter Manu Dadavar (Boom Shankar Tak Dish).
Chief guest former revenue minister Jose Philip D’Souza gave away the prizes in the presence of NCP spokesperson Trojan D’Melo and vice-president Adv Avinash Bhosle.
