PANJIM: FC Goa registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Churchill Brothers FC in the Goa Football Association U-14 First Division League played at Ambelim ground, on Sunday.
FC Goa led 1-0 at the break with Deepak Naik scoring the first in the 11th minute. In the second half, Denell Fernandes doubled the account for FC Goa in the 41st minute.
Deepak Naik completed his brace in the 52nd minute to make it 3-0.
In another match at Sirsaim ground, Sesa Football Academy scored five past Sporting Clube de Goa.
Sendy Mangte scored quadruple while Mo Sahil netted the fifth for the winners.
At Ella ground, Swavel Fernandes scored the only goal of the game as Dempo Sport Club registered a solitary goal win over Salgaocar Football Club. The match-winner was scored in the 14th minute.
Salcete FC humble Wilred Leisure 12-1
Salcete Football Club humbled Wilred Leisure 12-1 in the Goa Football Association U-14 Second Division League played at Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda.
Wilred Leisure were first to take the lead in the 5th minute through Lionel Cabral.
However, Salcete FC equalised through Sanvesh Palkar in the 14th minute who then scored his brace in the 17th minute and his treble in 23rd minute.
In the 25th minute, Sam Moura added the fourth goal before Pio Gomendes and Joshua Fernandes added a goal apiece to take the half time score to 6-1.
In the second half, Joshua Fernandes added two more goals to also complete his hat-trick while Sneadon Rodrigues scored a brace. Adson Gomes scored one goal and Sanvesh netted his fourth of the day to take the final tally to 12-1.
At Rosary ground, Navelim, Futebol Club YFA and Sirvodem Sports Club played out a goalless draw.
At Curtorim ground, Maina Sports Club eased past Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna 4-2.
A brace apiece from Glen Mascarenhas and Reu Dias enabled Maina to score four goals while Zeno Noronha and Imran Davangiri scored a goal each for the losing side.
At Velsao ground, Verna Sports & Cultural Association scored a fluent 3-0 win over Young Humorist.
Joyson Fernandes, Chaston Braganza and Mark Braganza scored a goal each for the winners.
At Don Bosco ground, Compassion FC beat Don Bosco Oratory 5-2.
Devraj Jadhav and Devendra Tate scored a brace each while Vivek Kumar scored another for Compassion FC. Don Bosco Oratory scored through M Modgil and Suhan Sheikh.
