PANJIM: Fr Agnel High School, Pilar defeated Don Bosco High School, Panjim by a solitary goal to emerge winners in the Tiswadi taluka U-14 Subroto Mukerjee football tournament played at Fr Agnel HS ground, Pilar, recently.
The all-important goal was scored by striker Gauraj Kunkolar, who brilliantly guided Deepcrush Narvekar’s cross to make it 1-0.
Don Bosco HS tried their best to get back in the game but Fr Agnel HS lads worked as a unit to keep them at bay. Fr Agnel HS could have increased their lead but Kenny Rodrigues and Nash Fernandes failed to convert their chances.
