KIRBHAT-NUVEM: Fr Agnel YC, Paroda edged past CAC Cansaulim 3-2 to enter into the semi-finals of the Parish Youth Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Parish Youth Nuvem, at Jesus Mary and Joseph Church ground, Nuvem, on Friday.
Manish Oliveira opened the score-line for Paroda in the 13th minute but the joy was short- lived as seven minutes later Josito Dias equalised for Cansaulim.
In the 27th minute, Jason Dias further inflated the lead for Paroda but within a minute Chadwick Furtado levelled terms to make it 2-2.
It was Jason Dias who completed his brace and made it 3-2 for Paroda.
Fr Agnel YC, Paroda will now meet SC Davorlim in the semi-finals on August 28.
