Francis Andrade broke the deadlock for Friends Circle while Minguel Baretto doubled the lead midway and Velito Miranda put the issue beyond doubt when he punted the ball to the far corner of the net, 3-0.
St Cruz Boys managed to score the consolation goal late in the opening session.
Friends Circle Boys, Chandravaddo were richer by Rs 6,000 while St Cruz Boys had to settle for Rs 4,000.
Individual prizes were awarded to Best player of the final Rocky Barretto of Borda, Best defender Polly Miranda of Chandravaddo and First scorer of the final Francis Barretto of Chandravaddo.
Ex-footballer and coach Socorro Vaz was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of chaplain of Borda Fr Vincent Leitao; Fr George Ratos, Holy Spirit parish priest; Fr Avinash Rebello; Fr Kinley D’Cruz and Fr Nascimento Mascarenhas. Total 16 teams participated in the tournament.
