PANJIM: The Goa Football Association (GFA) has received two separate sponsorship proposals with broadcasting for the Goa Professional League.
“I had personally worked in getting a sponsor from Kolkata for the Goa Pro League for last many months and was in final stages of confirming before I received another proposal from FC Goa couple of days back,” informed GFA President Churchill Alemao.

It has been learnt that the party from Kolkata has given a proposal to sponsor the GPL for three seasons commencing from this season.
Churchill revealed that Former AIFF President late Priya Dasmunsi’s wife was instrumental in arranging the sponsorship for the GPL are were in final stages of negotiations. The sponsors were also willing to broadcast the league.
Churchill further stated that FC Goa has also come with similar proposal having broadcasting of the GPL league however, they also proposed to have 2-3 outstation teams.
