PANJIM: The Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) in association with Devkikrishna Sports Club Mashel distributed kit to trainees from the GFDC- Deccan Marcel Football Development Centre at Gajantlaxmi Hall, Marcel recently.
Minister for Art and Culture, Govind Gaude was the chief guest for the function.
The Chairman of GFDC, Dr. Rufino Monteiro praised the Marcel centre. He also urged the kids to be dedicated and attend practices regularly.
Speaking at the occasion Govind Gaude stressed on the need for children to use the raw energy to come up in life.
He also expresses happiness on the way football is being developed across the GFDC centres and in Goa at large. He also promised to develop the village panchayat ground at the occasion.
Kits were distributed to the kids at the hands of the Chief Guest of the function and Dr. Rufino Monteiro.
Also present at the function were the Sarpanch of Tivrem- Orgaon panchayat, Sanjyot Khadapkar; Sarpanch of Betki Khandola panchayat, Dilip Naik; CSR Deccan Fine Chemical Pvt Ltd, Yogesh Arora and the President of Devkikrishna Sports Club Mashel, Ankit Narvelkar.
