T20 cricket at Fatorda
rnMARGAO (HC) – The South Goa Journalist Association will lock horns with Margao Municipal Council in a friendly T20 cricket match on March 27, at SAG sports complex, Fatorda, at 9 a.m. Journalists interested may contact Prasad Nagvenkar, secretary, South Goa Journalist Association. Meanwhile, Vijai Sardessai, general secretary, Goa Pradesh Congress will be the chief guest while Pratima Coutinho vice-president, Goa Pradesh Youth Congress will be the guest of honour.
rnInter-school archery, yogasana
rnPANJIM (HSD) – The inter-school archery and yogasana championship organised by Sports Authority of Goa will be held on April 10, at Campal sports complex, Campal-Panjim, at 9.30 a.m. Students may contact the organisers, Chetan Kavlekar, Laxmipriya Devi for archery and Navin Acharya, secretary (programme – SAG), Balendra Satarkar, Hema Keni for yogasana at the venue.
