As per the calendar planned by BanquetSPORTS, the sports management enterprise that schedules and manages the activities for Goa Rugby and Goa Touch, they have confirmed that the 14 franchises that were formed on April 1, 2015 have conducted 75 camps this summer in Goa.
This activity now paves the route for the franchises to begin development in schools from next week for the Goa Touch Schools League and the Goa Touch League 2015 (seniors).
The aim of the franchises is to reach out to over 140 schools over the next four months and train close to 12,000 children, who will then represent their schools and begin the school league and Goa Touch League thereafter, with the final being possibly played out at the PJN Stadium, Fatorda in the last week of December.
