BAMBOLIM: The North Goa District Magistrate has ordered the closure of the Goa University road from the All India Radio office to the Oitem Junction on Sunday, February 11 between 7.30a.m. and 11.30 a.m. to facilitate the safe and smooth conduct of the 5th Goa Triathlon event.
An official note has been issued to the relevant police departments to implement the order by the district magistrate a few days ago.
While the Duathlon (running-cycling) will begin at 6 a.m. on Sunday, the super-sprint Triathlon will start at 7.15 a.m. from the Bambolim beach and the Olympic distance Triathlon will start at 7.30 a.m. from the same beach.
