PANJIM: Gopal Kunkalekar clinched the top spot in the singles and doubles category of Nalco Super Six para badminton tournament in Bhubaneshwar.
Gopal has now qualified to participate in the international para badminton tournament.

In the singles category, Gopal defeated Keshav from Bangalore 21-18, 15-21, 23-21 in the finals and Durva from Chennai 21-12, 21-17 in the semi-finals.
In the doubles category, Gopal partnered GK Kuldeep of Haryana. They defeated Manoj and Subul of Bangalore/Chennai 15-21, 21-15, 25-23 in the finals. They beat Sanjeev of AP and Rakesh of Haryana 21-16, 21-18 in the semi-finals.
