SANGUEM: Government Higher Secondary School, Sanguem won the Sanguem Taluka U-17 Subroto Mukerjee Football boys tournament after defeating Miracles High School Sanguem 2-0.

Govt HSS, Sanguem had the first clear look at the goal in the 25th minute when Sagar Gaonkar missed an open chance, with only the keeper to beat but shot straight into his gloves.
In the 30th minute, Dash powerful attempt was block by the Miracles goalkeeper. Sanguem took the lead in the 40th minute when Anand Saroj headed home from a corner taken by Saish A Devidas.
They made the ssue safe when Jutin Lambor doubled the lead when he dribbled past two defenders and took a powerful shot giving no chance to the opposition goalkeeper.
