RAIA: Guardian Angel SC defeated Betalbatim SC, 2-0, to enter the quarterfinals of the Fr Gervasio Pinto inter-village football tournament, played at Pontemol football ground, on Tuesday. Gerito Fernandes and Aliston Furtado netted a goal each for Guardian Angel SC.
Earlier on Monday, Parish Youth Nuvem defeated Uguem Rising, 3-0, to enter the quarterfinals. Meislein Barreto scored a brace while Max Colaco scored the other for PY Nuvem.
On Sunday Carmona Sports Club outplayed Goa Velha SC, 2-0, to enter the quarter-finals. Neil D’Cruz and Ronan Ferrao scored for Carmona SC.
