CALANGUTE: Guardian Angel Sports Club, Sanvordem crushed Calangute Association 2-0 in 4th Rusi Daver memorial inter-village football tournament organized by Adarsh Yuvak Sangh at Saligao ground, Saligao, Tuesday.
Sanvordem created several moves and scored the opener in the 25th minute through Anthony D’ Souza.
Down by a goal, Calangute tried hard to get back into the game but their forwards failed to convert in front of the rival goal.
In the second half, Shaikh doubled the lead for Sanvordem.
