MAPUSA: Guirim Youth and Cultural Sports Club got the better of Calangute Association 5-4 via the tie-breaker in 22^nd late VM Salgaocar trophy football tournament organized by Saligao Sporting Club at Saligao ground, Saturday. The teams were locked 1-1 at full time.

Olvinho Pinto put Guirim ahead in the 24^th minute with a powerful strike.

Calangute regrouped in the second session and equalized through Francisco Fernandes in the 55^th minute.

In the tie-breaker, Yogesh, Nikhil, Joaquim and Shubham scored for Guirim while Albert, Francisco and Sarvananda converted for Calangute.
