PANJIM: Goa will participate in the Junior Girls National Football Championship will be held in Kholapur from April 20.
According to the official statement made by Goa Football Association, girls born on or after January 1, 2003 and not later than December 31, 2005 should report for selection trials on March 31 and April 2 (for North Goa) at Duler ground, Mapusa at 8 a.m or April 1 and 3 (for South Goa) at Navelim Church ground at 8.a.m. along with original birth certificates, original Aadhar Card and two passport size photos.
They should report to Carol or Margaret or Arnaldo or Oswald at the venue.
Girls will be selected on the basis of their performances at Nationals for the preparatory camp for the India National team for the U-17 Women’s World Cup 2020 to be held in India.
Goa have been placed in Group C with Manipur, Tripura and Uttarakhand and will play their first match on April 20.
