Changing over, Chinchinim fought back and restored parity through Mathew D’Costa. Mario Soares put Chinchinim ahead scoring off a penalty . Trailing 1-2, Kolkata fought back and drew level through Alok Deb. Kolkata prevailed over Chinchinim by 4-3 in the ensuing penalties.
Ranjay, Sameer, Jovial and Alok Deb converted for the winners while Mario Soares, Jerry Fernandes and Santan were on target for Chinchinim.
In the earlier match, Kerala Veterans scored once goal in each half to beat another Goan team Benny XI 2-0. Rajiq Shaikh and Ranjith scored for Kerala.
