CANSAULIM: The GFA U-20 TACA Goa football match between Dempo SC and Churchill Brothers which was supposed to be played at Cansaulim ground was called off due to poor ground conditions.
It was observed that the football pitch had overgrown grass in certain areas which would have made it difficult for the players to play.
The team Managers John Dias of Dempo SC and Joao Rebello of Churchill Brothers filed letter to the match Commissioner stating the players might be prone to injuries due to the unsuitable ground conditions asking GFA to further postpone their match.
